Heritage Behavioral Health Center has been serving central Illinois for nearly 70 years. We trace our origin back to 1956 when we were known as the Mental Health Clinic.​

While our name and our services have changed over the course of our history, we have stayed true to the principles upon which we were founded, building a legacy of high-quality services.

Heritage provides comprehensive community-based services in mental health, substance use, and primary care to anyone anytime anywhere. We also provide a variety of innovative outreach, crisis intervention, and prevention services in our communities. Looking into the future, we will continue to grow and fulfill our mission: to improve the mental and physical well-being of those we serve and to advance behavioral health in the community.
