Please call the CARES Line 1-800-345-9049 to get linked to crisis services through SASS. Heritage’s SASS Services are provided to children and adolescents who are 0 to 18 years of age that either have no form of insurance or have an active public aid card or All Kids insurance. SASS services are also provided for adults 18 -21 years old who have an active public aid card and at risk for psychiatric hospitalizations and are located, at the time of crisis, in Macon, Piatt or Dewitt counties.

​Heritage’s SASS services screen and assess children to determine the need for psychiatric hospitalization and to deflect when appropriate, to provide ongoing monitoring of youth admitted to a state funded facility to ensure timely discharge planning, linkage and after care.
